We have an unexpected opening for one person on the ferry. If you might possibly be interested in it the cost for the ticket is $24.50, payable at the meet. We'll be meeting at Pier 33 no later than 11:30am, however I suggest you try to arrive at before then, especially if you've never been there before. I will be there from 11am onwards, so you can look for me. I will be wearing a dA t-shirt, and have Fella in my backpack.

At 12:32 our ferry leaves for Alcatraz, but they begin boarding at 12:00, which is why I suggested you get there by 11:30. It would be a crappy if you arrived only to find you can't get to us because we've already boarded, and now you're stuck being left behind. (By the way, tickets are non-refundable.. so do try to be there on time)

Once on the Island we will walk from the docks to the prison. There is an audio tour we can take, or we can go it on our own. The Island staff has requested that we do not bring tripods, or excessive camera gear, as it would interfere with other people's enjoyment of the island.

From start to finish the tour should take us about 2 hours, maybe more than that, but it depends on how long we stop in each area of the prison. There is also alot of grounds to explore, as it's also a wild bird sanctuary.

Once we're finished with our tour, we'll head back to the mainland. Should be about time for a late lunch/early dinner. We can head to Fisherman's Wharf, where they have gift shops and restaurants. There are food places to fit everyone's budget, and I imagine we'll scatter a bit depending on how much you want to spend on food. After that we'll meet back up and do some wandering through the shops and head down to Ghiradelli Square. There are many street artists along the way, and there is also an aquarium if we wish to go have a look in there. At the end of the day, the ones who are over 21, will end up at a pub (the name of which completely eludes me at this time) where they'll have enough seats to accommodate us all.

I'll update this periodically as the payments for the tickets arrive. I need them as soon as you can however.
